StuffOps Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 6, 2026. This policy explains how StuffOps handles Etsy and Shopify seller data and account information.

What Etsy data StuffOps collects

StuffOps may collect Etsy shop profile data, listings, inventory snapshots, receipts/orders, transactions, shipping/fulfillment updates, and payments metadata where Etsy API access allows it.

What Shopify data StuffOps collects

StuffOps collects Shopify product listings (title, status, SKU, inventory quantity) and order records (order id, name, financial status, total amount, currency) via the Shopify Admin API, using only the read_products, read_orders, and read_inventory scopes. StuffOps does not currently request or store Shopify customer personal data - names, emails, phone numbers, or shipping addresses are not collected from Shopify.

Why StuffOps collects this data

To provide seller operations dashboards, sync health visibility, and reporting workflows for Etsy and Shopify sellers inside StuffOps.

Account, billing, and security information

StuffOps collects account and workspace information such as your email address, account and workspace identifiers, roles, subscription package, connection status, and support or privacy requests. Payment processing is provided through Stripe. StuffOps may receive billing-related identifiers, subscription status, billing address information, and payment-event information, but does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers.

How we protect information

StuffOps uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect account information and connected marketplace data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. Access credentials and connection secrets are handled server-side and are not intentionally exposed in browser responses.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

StuffOps uses session, security, and preference cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect requests, remember settings, measure service use, and improve the product. Where enabled and permitted by law, StuffOps may use Google Analytics and similar analytics tools to understand traffic, feature use, and service performance.

Where enabled and permitted by law, StuffOps may use marketing pixels and behavioral advertising technologies to measure campaigns, understand interest in StuffOps, and show more relevant promotional content. These technologies may receive information such as browser, device, approximate location, page or campaign activity, and cookie or advertising identifiers. They are not used to expose connected Etsy or Shopify operational data for advertising.

Browser privacy signals

StuffOps reviews applicable browser privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control and similar signals, and applies them where required by applicable law. Browser privacy signals may affect analytics, advertising, or preference technologies, but do not replace account security cookies required to provide the authenticated service.

AI and service providers

When you use AI-powered features, StuffOps may process the prompts, listing or product context, uploaded materials, and generated results needed to provide that feature. StuffOps may use hosting, infrastructure, email, payment, analytics, advertising, security, and AI service providers to operate the product. Providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for their contracted service and must handle it under applicable confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Retention

StuffOps retains operational data according to the retention period and service terms associated with the customer’s subscribed package. Data may be retained longer when necessary for security, fraud prevention, billing, legal, compliance, audit, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes. When an account is deleted or a verified deletion request is completed, StuffOps removes connected marketplace tokens and associated operational data subject to those limited-retention needs.

Your privacy requests

You can ask StuffOps to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account. You can also ask questions about how your data is used or request a copy of information where required by applicable law.

Disconnect a marketplace connection

Sellers can disconnect Etsy or Shopify at any time in StuffOps. Disconnecting stops new live sync activity and clears the connection from active use. Previously synced operational data may remain for account history, support, security, fraud prevention, legal, or compliance purposes unless you request deletion. For Shopify, uninstalling the StuffOps app from Shopify also deactivates the connection, and StuffOps honors Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks for applicable access and deletion requests.

Request access, correction, or deletion

Email support@StuffOps.com with the subject StuffOps Privacy Request. Tell us whether you are requesting access, correction, or deletion and include the account email and connected shop name. We may verify account ownership before fulfilling a request.

We will confirm receipt and ordinarily complete a verified deletion request within 30 days, unless a longer period is permitted or required by applicable law or limited retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal, or compliance reasons.

Third-party sharing

StuffOps does not sell Etsy or Shopify seller data. Sharing is limited to infrastructure/service providers required to operate StuffOps, subject to contractual safeguards.
